My Role: Instructor 

 

Objective:  The main objective of the Cooperative Education program is to provide months (3-5 semesters) of meaningful experience, making the student more valuable to an employer upon graduation. 

 

Outcome: Since my tenure as the CoOp instructor, I have been able to lead over 10 students through professional and career development. As the instructor, I gain the ability to go on site visits to meet other professionals in the student's CoOp company and assess ways in which other students can join the company, as well as seeing if other departments at the company are interested in the program.
